One of our local boys Cody Coverchuk is on his way to a World Junior Bull Riding Championship at the National Indian Rodeo Finals-second in the first round and first last night-go Cody. He's been test piloting our young bulls since he was just a little guy-lots of talent and he'll pull his rope tight on whatever you run under him. GOOD LUCK!!!

Cody bucked off tonight but is ahead in the average by one point going into the last round. One of my rodeo kids crashed a dirt bike today and got hurt pretty bad-he's going to make it but he's got some healing to do.

Your new Internataional Indian Finals World Champion Junior Bull Rider-Cody Coverchuk of Meadow Lake, Sask. Couldn't happen to a better cowboy-good on ya Cov.

To think I'm trying to make a saddle bronc rider out of him-his older brother is a pretty handy bronc rider-kind of slowing down now because of a broken neck a year or so ago but he could lift and scratch them. I better give my practice bulls some oats they bucked off a world champ lol. He's got a bright future in rodeo for sure.
