It appears that Suh has a real chance to win this thing. Single handedly stopping McCoy in his tracks didn't hurt Suh's chances either.

My man Woody predicts that Tejas will get a whuppin' 'Bama style next month.

The theme song for all college football fans from the state to the south of me is "I'll be home for Christmas".

Suh's going to get Hesiman votes, espically from voters in the Midwest, but I don't think Suh will win the Hesiman.

Even though I'm a die-hard Husker fan and obviously biased, I think there should be no question that he is the best player in college and thus, should win the award. If you were a coach drafting players for your team, who else would be your first pick?

he may very well be the best player. he may deserve the thing. but in reality, a player from the midwest has to be FREAKING UNBELIEVABLE to win it over the biased media from the coasts, or Texas.
the Hypesman has lost its vision, they award the glamor boy of football, not the guy who REALLY deserves it. look at the last 25 years of winners...5 may have panned out as NFL stars. the others fizzled fast.

win it or not, I think Suh will be an impact player in the NFL

hmmm...that's a pretty darn good looking bunch to me. Many more successes than failures. Some had career ending injuries...some just didnt' pan out but overall the have done well.

mediocre at best. Bush may be a star, but to be awarded the BEST player of the year, then to go into the NFL and be out classed by guys from nowhere schools is a sign of how the hypesman is all smoke and mirrors

I agree...... Crotch has to be the worst ever..IMHO.....

I see where Ingram got it. Good for him, but I agree with Sandhusker. I would have voted for Suh. The guy's a man among boys. Never seen anyone dominate the line like he does, even when double and triple teamed. It's a huge jump from college to the NFL, but I'll bet there's some teams salivating over him.

I mean no offense; it's sure nice to see a Husker just a shade above "in the running" draft-wise. I don't have a favorite pro team___ yet. Yeah, I used to but that"s another story. Go Vikings!!

Bad part is that the "bad teams" get the early drafts unless some swapping is done so he'll probably end up with a sorry team....to begin with at least.

Mediocre?? Many of those guys were all pros and several are already in the hall of fame.
