Before we went out there last year, my buddy got me hooked into the sale catalog, online, for Reno. I picked out several that I liked, in case they went cheap enough for me to buy. I had a hell of a time finding any without white feet. I'm not talking hair here, but feet.
My pick only went for $15,000.
Too bad I was only about $13 or 14,000 shy.
And I think he had at least one white foot.
I hope, "Mijo" passes on some "cow" to his colts.
Long range plan, I've got a couple fillies that are Peppy San/ King Fritx/Colonel Freckels bred. I'll use "Mijo" on them fillies and my few mares and then get another one, bred a little better or closer up, (probably cost me more too  ) to go on those horses and this ones fillies.
Someday I hope to have some horses that acts just like a Border Collie. When he/she see's cattle, I went her/him to drop down in front and go to work.
Of course, they still have to be big enough and smooth enough, to ride all day and be comfortable.
I think it is a worthwhile goal.
