Hey Canadian Angus!!

Nice set of bulls, and you're a great comment writer!!!

I like the "long like a winter's cold, square like Great Aunt Tilly, and deep as a well" one..made me chuckle. Very descriptive!!! The only person in our family I could write the square part about is myself though

Good luck with your first sale. I bet you'll be dead tired at the end of the day!

Cheers---

TTB

Checked out your bulls, especially tha density's and the freight's. Both look really good . You've got good cattle . Quality sells. You''ll do well.Good luck with your sale. I think I'll try some density this year.

Did the semen tests today, Northern Rancher you must of taken Dr, Ed out because it went well, about ten bulls an hour. Dr Ed will read them later so we are still holding our breath.

There was no wrecks, the bulls must of known ,"if I'm nice I may get a nice reward". Water was running and the snow was melting, probably the nicest day we have ever had.

The Density bulls measured right up there with Freigtliners. Keep you posted.

Wow Dave that 32S bull looks nice and thick now!! I was impressed in the fall but he sure looks good in that pic! Good looking set of bulls!! Wish I could make it up there but I am not sure it will happen... we will see. How is everything else going? I have been laying low lately and have been missing out on all the stories!

Hi Kim, good to know your still keeping in touch. We would really like to have the U of S geneitic department there. Notice the screw up about 32s, saying he's lot 6, but sure the serious people will phone. The 603s is a good rip to, used his half brother here and his daughters are calving this spring and we are very pleased.

Got to judge the bulls by their mothers.

Have a good one.

To some extent they are Canadian, however they are based on American, our older cattle are beat upon forever in comparison. Mother of one our bulls has an epd of 5 on milk, yet she brings home an eight hundred plus calf each fall. Canadian bred cattle are discounted on epd's unless they have AI sires in the back ground.

Good cattle, but epd's are lower because of that. If we have AI cattle they numbers are higher.

The Red Angus is or has changed to the American Epd standard. Hope this answers your question.

We have about 50 to 60 red cross, about 15 to 20 black croos hfrs amd 10 or so hfrs with calves at side.

Some have dropped out because they want to keep them, which is good for them, but not the rancher looking for good animals.
