Hey Canucks.....

Yes the Brier is in calgary next year, maybe this time debris on the ice will not decide the winners. :roll: Martin would have lost in the page play off if the Simmons rock would not have picked. The final was the first time i have heard F-this, G-dam it, etc on a CBC curling show.

Now Now Question the debris was on the ice for both teams,ya it was crappy but Martin won EVERY game he played in the Briar,he was the right winner :P Kinda nice to see a boy from our area win the Briar,and his fifth was from the area too :D
 
Sorry Mrs.G but had not a Simmons rock picked, it would have been a blow out early in the game but it kept Martin close and when he was on the verge of losing again a simmons rock picked again. But no martin rocks of importance were effected in that game, but it got worse as the Ont/ Sask game was effected by debris. So in my mind that is all part of the game but don't boast too much on martin and the undefeated thing if it had not been for debris on the ice he would not be champion. As for martin being from your area just remember 2 of his guys are from SK and just a thought 7 guys of the final 12 are originally from sk. Another export Sk is good at :D
 
So what really was the debris???Rock chips,dirt in the Ice?

Heck...Martin won...I'm Happy,we've been waiting for that for years :D


Some of his shots were AMAZING!!!!!! Actually so were the rest of the team,they played great! I just LOVE a great throw,that clears the other teams rocks,doesn't matter to me what team throws a perfect rock...I love it :D
