That begs the question, is a Flint Hill worth more or less than a Sand Hill? 
still fighting on the house damage. they are about $17,000 short on what they want to pay. Vehicles came out ok, the wheat is a mixed bag, catastrophic said I have to leave strips, the extra hail said it was zeroed out...go figure! the problem is the alfalfa...no insurance on it. lost a LOT of money that I was depending on in the first cutting...going to be very tight this year, expansion plans may get pushed back after this. I was wanting to add 50 cows and rent a couple more quarters.
you can count on an insurance company to be there when the premium is due.
flint hills more valuable in my mind, the grass is not as fragile. those blow outs look like they can be a pain to manag, and the flint hills get a LOT more rain a year.... but both are beautiful. no offence to you sand dwellers, just my opinion.
