Here's Elsa!
She's quite the pup. The picture is almost two weeks old and she's grown a lot already. We're starting the process of the "raising of the ears". Every day I see a difference. She's nine weeks old and already weighs 23 pounds, so I think she'll be a good sized dog.
She's as smart as can be, and I think we're going to have our hands full with her. She's much more likely to challenge authority than Zelda was. :wink: She likes to test limits, and I've got to stay on top of it. This kind of pup usually makes a really good dog as long as you get a good foundation. The time to learn the boundaries and manners is now, not at 80 pounds! We are definitely signing up for obedience classes.
She's a fearless little thing, and I think she's going to make a top notch cattle dog.As soon as I find time to upload a newer photo over our faster than flowing mud dialup connection I'll post it.
Now all we have to do is survive the teething!

My dad had a German Shepherd in France during WW!!. He called that dog, "FOUR TON" and he really loved her. She was black like your pup.
