High hopes fer short grass

this rye grass was planted october 29, pic was taken yesterday Dec 30.
took forever for it to finally come up, now we are puttin up an electric fence around it in hopes that it'll come on and do somethin in the next couple months.

Cows come a runnin' to see what we are doin.

We didnt get finished yesterday evenin, ran out of the lil plastic clips that go on the posts. Gettin somemore this mornin, and will get er done later this evenin.

Time for some ammonium nitrate!

I have been putting some down on some overseeded ryegrass the past few days. Hasn't been good for the ole bank account either, but planting ryegrass and NOT nitrating it is a waste of seed and fuel.
