I see you haven't posted for awhile, been busy?? We've been very busy, trying to get our hay up before the heat and/or the grasshoppers get it. I was wonderin', have you guys ever worked for the Galt Ranch by White Sulphur Springs? Do you know those who run the Castle Mountain Ranch? Just curious... Anyone else who has experience with these two ranches please speak up...I'm curious about the history plus I just got done reading a very interesting book...

I know a bit about the Castle Mountain Ranch, Hanta Yo. Probably
not very much, but we had great friends and a son-in-law who worked for Rock Creek Cattle Co. in Deer Lodge and both ranches were owned by Ward Paper Box Co. and Russell Stover Chocolate family. The owner
was Louis Ward from Missouri.

I might know a little bit more.

forgotten about it. What was the name again?

Thanks, FH, I know the people who manage it (Castle Mountain), and the book is called "The Cowboy Way" by David McCumber. Very, very interesting reading...about David spending a year on Galt's ranch and everything he learned...been there done that. :wink:
