It is 50 feet by 12 feet.

Thank you, I will. We had just a beautiful day today. The thermometer read 51 degrees at noon, and delightfully for a change, there was no wind.

Nice here too-- I got a little work done on the calving barn getting it ready- then my son came to get my trailer this afternoon because he had 60 some little square bales of horse hay gave to him and needed to haul them since they were cleaning (burning) the stackyards...So I took a drive with him and checked out the country side (and loaded and unloaded idiot cubes :roll: )....Was near the lake and the geese were all over in the fields- but I think they are local geese that spent the winter here on the Missouri and wheat fields...When we came back thru town about 4PM the temp showed 41-- and they say its supposed to be nicer tomorrow...

There are good solid uprights every ten feet which panels can be wired to. We were looking it over this afternoon, and I think I will have our welder son put some loops on these uprights, which will make them compatible to our Scott panels. Scott Manufacturing from west of Gordon, Nebraska, makes the best portable corral panels that I am familiar with. They have good latches that can accommodate uneven ground; they are quick and easy to assemble, and you don't need other pins or rods to hook them up. I would give a hearty "thumbs up" to Scott's corral panels.

In our new barn, we are going to have an alley about four feet wide along the front, with five stalls each 8 feet by 10 feet. Portable corral panels outside will funnel any calving cows into the barn. The three 6 foot sliding doors will come in handy, and the four windows and two skylights should allow light from our yard lights to enter. I think it will work well, but on the other hand, it would really be nice if the weather was so wonderful that we wouldn't need it. :wink:

Well maybe by getting that barn today will keep our weather nice for the rest of calving...isn't that they way it always goes? Like buying a snowblower, then it doesn't snow..lol Good luck this season with your calving... :wink:

Those are cream puffs. Since my dad was a little kid, cream puffs were his favorite dessert. His mother made them for his birthdays, and since I married Peach Blossom she always makes cream puffs for her father-in-law's birthday. I lamented that there were no candles on the puffs. My dad said, "Just count all the peanuts on top."

Cream Puffs are fine! Peach, my B'day is 1-4, but belated B'days are acceptable
