Holly Rain---born April 25th.....7 lbs. 6 oz....20"long....mom had 20 hours of labor, 8 hours of pushing and they began to lose the baby's heartbeat...emergency c-section later, I had a beautiful grandbaby to hold!

demodriver and her precious neice.....Holly is the first female born in the family since gussie came along...almost 18 years ago!!

Mama....she is only 18, but is gonna really make a good mom!! she loves that little girl with all her heart and has the instincts to do the right thing!

let me tell you a bit about this incredible man!!!! He pretty much raised my hubby....taught him alot of what he knows now!! Last July, he tragically lost his ONLY son...suddenly and without warning!! He and the wife are still "lost" and when he walked in and saw this baby, his face simply lit up...he asked to hold her and I got this picture....which was, in itself, AMAZING..since I did it through tear filled eyes!!

Wel shoot, she shares a birthday with my wife.. Of course, Their age difference is pretty significat... But no more babypictures.. I might trick myself into wanting another...

"Granny Croy" is what my co-workers have lovingly nicknamed me!! :lol: :lol:

I guess now I know how other grandparents feel when they hold their child's child for the first time!! I cannot even begin to tell you the feeling!! Simply amazing!!!


IlRancher----I know the feeling, pal!!! Holding that tiny blessing, I calmly looked over at cowboyup and said "Boy...are you lucky we cannot have anymore!!".............he agreed!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
