I thought I would try this.

This is home in Eastern MT.

About 15 miles straight East of Faster Horses.

A couple of my favorite places in the world, but I think you have to be from there, to like it.

And some cows.

First purebred calf. Few years back in '98.

Good looking ranch country and nice looking cattle. How does New York fit into your ranching equation?

I've got ten or twelve half Tarentaise-half Angus heifer calves that I'd make you a whale of a deal on this fall at weaning time.

I'm finishing my PhD in Animal Breeding, Soapweed.

I make the EPD you don't use!

Got to do something to keep the ranch in the family. Off-ranch income to support my cow habit. 8)

Wow!!! Now, that is some interesting-looking country you live in!! Just the kind the hubby would not mind living in!  Are you around the Ekalaka area??? That's where the hubby was born...still has a sister over there running a motel!!! :D :D

I sure don't mind the looks of your land,we have quite a few badlands down by the Battle River here in East Central Alta.

Thanks.

The picture with the Ford in the background was taken about 15 miles NNE of Ekalaka.

The others are would be 35 miles North and 10 or so miles East of Ekalaka.

There are quite a number of Croys, Teigens, Lovecs, and Jardees and decendants scattered out in SW MT from the Ekalaka/Alzada/Mill Iron areas.

the hubby's sister was born Croy (sue is her first name), but she is married to a Beach (arley, I think), now!! You are right...lots of croy's scattered all over...I guess that's what happens when you are one of 21 kids!!!   About half of them are still over in Illinois!!
