Yesterday, I took my yearling colt to a local AQHA show... We were in the amatuer gelding class.
We walked to the judge, he steps aside and then you and your horse trot to the cone and make a left turn...
Then you line up for final judging and you then set your horse up as square on all fours as you can..

We won our class.
Then we came in to be judged aginst all the other champion geldings... We didn't win that one.. An older horse won, and he was the better horse.. We just need to be in better condition... It will come in time..
Anyways I had a ton of fun and met my goals.......
