How's Your Weather?

Hey everyone we here in Se Neb are finally getting some much needed rain. We have been short all year and it seemed like we were never going to get any but we will sure take it any time we can get it. Don't know exactly how much we have gotten (brought the rain guage in so it didn't freeze and break) but have heard reports of just over an inch.

Good deal. Nothing like some much needed moisture to make the Christmas season joyous.

We got sparse drizzle,and spotty at that.

Just started snowing a couple hours ago, after rain most of the morning...starting to stick on the roads, but the lawn here at work is still bare. (Should be a fun ride home, have the kid's little honda car, since my starter went out in the blazer yesterday.) Figures!

At least we can torture the pony with the new harness and the sleigh tonight while the males fix MY truck, LOL! (The sleigh sounds terrible on the bare gravel, LOL!) :lol:

It drizzled here a litttle off and on all day and was major foggy this morning. I am so glad to see it rain here although I have to admit I was not to happy to see rain as I was planning to grind hay yesterday morning and it was to muddy to do it. I had really wanted to get it done before it got the hay wet as I fight to keep ground hay from spoiling. I don't have that many cows and the tub grinder comes for a minimum of an hour and in an hour I can grind at least 60 bales. My own fault for not doing it sooner in the year but who would have ever thought it would be as nice and warm as it has been all fall. But on the other hand as untimely as the rain has been in the past yr + I/we need to darn thankful for any rain we can get.
