Just listened to the Huskers knock off #16 Oregon 88-79. We were supposed to finish 10th in the Big 12. Now 8-2 and getting better every week.

Jigs, do the mildcats play basktetball or do they realize they'll never even be the best team in their state?
 
Doc Sadler is going to build a program at NU. Maric may be a lotto pick - certainly a first round pick. Don't look now but the Big 12 is punking the Pac 10 and the OSU win was a nice win. NU is ahead of schedule in the building process because Maric is that good.

I can't really predict the Big 12 race and no one else can either, but there might not be much differene between 4th and 10th. Consistency, coaching, and leadership will decide several games in the middle of the Big 12. ISU looks just plain bad, but everyone else may be competitive.

Annnnnd, the Wildcats have again guaranteed a win over Kansas in Manhattan (Ted Owens Fieldhouse West) - something no one under age 25 has ever seen.
 
I can't tell when Jigs is joking, and I haven't even looked at the schedule to see if those dates were Kansas/KSU (i suspect they are). Basketball is more conducive to upsets than say football, but KSU, and their bad mannered players and worse mannered coach, needs to worry about beating George freaking Mason and Notre Dame before guaranteeing a win over Kansas. I'm all for bold predictions if made with conviction, but the unembarrassable KSU fans say stupid crap like this every year (never will they wager on their nonsense).


THis just in: Brandon Rush rehabs an ACL surgery with weight lifting, swimming, stationary bicycling and stretching, Billy Badmanners Walker rehabs by eating alot of french fries and talking smack. Can you guess who is coached by a bigmouthed, disqualified highschool coach?
 
Work Hard, I'm pretty sure jigs is just needling me, but anyway try to keep the dogamatism friendly. K Staters are like your little brother: Mom and Dad didn't like them very much so they sent them to KSU, but ya still like to see them at holidays.

Brad, when we beat KU in basketball, will they start chanting "wait till football season" ?????LOL
