Huskers open with BYU 2016

I read an article in the SLC paper today that said my Cougars open at Nebraska in football this fall. It's a 1 game deal and BYU will get a cool million bucks for the trip since it isn't a home and home. September 5th is the date. They gave BYU 3000 tickets which will go quick. Wish I could make the trip. A little early to start talking smack but thought it ought'a be a fun game. Go Cougs!

We've got a new coach, a new staff, and a new attitude in Lincoln. Your Cougars better come cocked & primed, cause the whole world will be watching to see how Riley & Co. fare. I'm looking forward to it, H. It should be a good 'un!


This is where Jigs can horn in and run his ignorant mouth about how bad all things Husker are. The worst thing about Nebraska is their record vs. Kansas State..... IF you're a Kansas State fan, anyway..... :wink:

We have a QB that is really, really good when he is healthy. And a defense that couldn't stop the Nebraska college of beauty and combine repair!

Right now we really don't know WHAT we've got. I've got a feeling there will be some stiff competition @ QB. The rest is kind of up in the air somewhat as well. Losing Bell & Ameer hurt, but Pierson-El and a few others are going to answer the call. We'll have a better idea where we are at the end of the Red/White game in the spring.

Don't be to worried, you know Nebraska is the worst team in the 5th best conference in the nation. Just ask Jigs, you know he is the Kirk Herbstreit of the Ranchers Sports Forum.

Yeah, I know. I've heard that sbit enough since last fall. Then I look at our record against Kansas State and I fall out of my chair laughing. :lol: :wink:

I hope Jigs doesn't quit his day job.
