Im heading to fort Morgon Co in two weeks. Taking I 80 is there anywhere that I need to stop and see? How bout in the Denver or Cheyenne area once I get there?

PRCA Hall of Fame is pretty cool in Colorado Springs if you take that highway that goes around Denver to the east it's right off the first exit where that road comes to Colorado Springs. I'm sure there's alot of interesting stuff in Cheyenne but have just overnighted there.

Assuming you are going all the way across NE, there is a beautiful garden in Omaha (and many museums, Old Town, and more) all most likely already decorated for Christmas. There was a story in Midwest Living magazine about the garden, tho. If I find it, I'll post later with more info.

If you are into watching the scenery roll by, we really enjoy driving I-80 across NE and WY. There are some intersting museums between Omaha and North Platte, too, but not sure if they are year round. Surely there will be info at the rest stops on the I. Or find the NE tourism website.

Being more familiar with the west end of the state, and with the WY section of I-80, don't overlook the small towns, especially the last three in NE. There are some nifty western clothing and housewares, as well as Sierra clothing specializing in winter wear, stores in Cheyenne, both on Lincolnway, and on the Interstate on the east end of town. The WY capitol complex is intersting, with museums, etc. There is a buffalo ranch south of town, which I believe invites people to tour, but don't know the details.

Have fun, and may you enjoy good weather and roads! Fall in this part of the country has been long and beautiful, so it may end abruptly any day now.

There is a state of the art museum in a bridge that is the only bridge like it across I-80 at Kearney Nebraska. Disney did alot of the effects and it's a history of the Oregon trail...It's a one of a kind and well worth the stop...

Fort Morgan is about 1hr and a half north of the springs. If the rodeo hall of fame is something that you want to see you need to take I-25 south to the springs. Not much in Fort Morgan to see or anything in Northeastern Colorado I know because I live in the area

Were coming from SE Kansas to Ft Morgan. Figured on taking I 80 oout there ar I 70 back as I have been across 70 numerous times. It doesnt take much more time to get there on 80 so always interested in seeing different scenery
