I never had a green card, I have a birth certificate for the US. In Canada you don't get a green card you get a white piece of paper. But I don't need that now either as I took my citizenship test and passed with flying colours. I now have a nice little card with my name and picture that states I'm a CANADIAN.  I'm not a Canuck or a Canucklehead head or any of the other stupid names you want to call us, I'm C-A-N-A-D-I-A-N Canadian. But when I get back to the US Port I have to still tell them I'm a US citizen because if you are born a US citizen you are always a US citizen in the eyes of the Border officials. But thanks for worrying about me Haymaker, it warms my little heart to know you care
