Last night I woke up and thought it was time to go to work. I turned the lights on and was moaning about going to work. I already had my socks on and I realized it was 1:10 and not 5:10. The socks came off, the lights went out, and I crawled back into bed. I did the same thing once before about 25-30 years ago. That time I got fully dressed. Anyone else ever done that? :???: :???: :???:

When I had a similar experience, I was about age 12. It was mid-summer, and days began very early, about sunrise. Apparently, the day had gone as usual, and I fell asleep about three p.m., fully dressed, of course. When I woke, the house was quiet, and I thought it was morning, so got a milk pail and went to start milking before others got up......thinking of how surprised they would be when they got to the barn. They happened to be returning to the house, with the evening milking finished! They had a hard time convincing me until someone asked me "which direction does the sun come up in the morning?" And I started to reply "in the east, of course" then FINALLY noticed that the sun really WAS setting in the western sky. I haven't been reminded of that incident for some years, and maybe those remaining have forgotten it, as I'm now 74 and only three others of that family are still living. Guess I should share the story with my 90 year old uncle to see if he still recalls it. And it is safe with you here, as none of them uses a computer, if I decide not to admit it to my uncle.......tho he would enjoy the story so much that I probably will share it with him.

I woke up to good daylight, jumped up and was in the latrine shaving, when I noticed it was 2:00 AM. Very common occurrence among soldiers stationed in Alaska arriving in the summer months. That would have been June 1965 for me.
