I think this is a great deal for anyone wanting to expand. :)

I bet it is pretty nice. A little too far south for my liking though. I'm wondering how they can have 1000 acres of arable farmland AND 600 acres of producing hayland and still only have 1196 acres. Maybe they mean 600 of the 1000 arable is producing? :???:
I dunno. Im just a pothead arsehole from BC.

i'm too spoiled to live without being on the electricity grid. Keeping everything that runs on propane running would get old fairly quickly, I'm thinking. Nice place though, even if it is inhabited by arsehole pot heads!

I'm thinking they're saying they have 1000 acres arable farmland 600 of it is hayland, the rest is used for grain crops. (I see they grow barley).

You could always change it to wind and solar power.
Well with generator or wind/solar power at least when you're growing your pot you won't get caught by using excessive hydro.

Actually our next door neighbour powers their place with wind and solar power.

that place is very nice and I'd consider it wherever it was.I would love the solitude.

Just about anyone with a 1/4 or 1/2 section in AB could likely sell and pay cash for this one and still have $$$ left over, plus you'd gain another 150 head of bred cows and a few bulls and all the hay and farm equipment and everything else it comes with.

I know you'd never leave AB,....... but thats what I thought too a year ago.

Jigger I think I'm too old to switch from being a jerk to a pothead areshole. I like it where I am too much, so I won't be moving anytime soon.

Thats ok DJL, I never asked anyone to move, just posted the site for fun. :-)
I have friends that ranch in the Porcupine Hills and if I had their place I wouldn't move either. Its not near as crowed there as it is in some parts of AB which is a good thing. :)

Oh I never say never.....although I do have to admit that really wasn't the provincial nieghbor I would have thought about moving to. I do really like that place and it would be closer to my sis, thats a huge plus.

Silver...I got a chuckle out of the newfie that ran outta money, too funny, now if only about two three thousand more of those like provincial immigrants would go broke at the Man. Border this Albertan would be happy :D Nothing against newfies but do they ALL have to move to Alta. :(

Well Once they found out were werent "Friendly Manitoba" they decided they didnt want to be "Spirited Energy" lol I dont think they were broke, they just didnt think there was anything worth while in the west so they stopped!
