I'm back

[Big Muddy rancher]

Tam and I left Thursday for Alberta to see the new grandson. Pretty cute little feller. Had a good flight out and enjoyed a quiet couple of days with the kids and getting to know Colt. This morning we had wet /slippery hiways back to Calgary and just made it in time. Travels 80km/hour on the QE2. any Albertans will know that's pretty slow for that road. Had a good flight hope then had 100 miles of icy roads home down to 40k/25mph for stretches at a time.
Glad to be home. Lane was gone hauling cattle, quite a challenge today.

Meadow larks are back. :roll: it's like winter out there. I don't know what they were thinking. :lol: :lol:

Well I'm sure everyone enjoyed that trip to see the new grand-baby!! But it seems that the winter weather sure has been reluctant to let go this year. At least it's clean as long as things stay froze up like they are.

We have robins and killdeer running around here for the past couple of weeks. They have to watch that they don't get into collisions with all the flocks of snowbirds that are still flying around . . . :?

Ground drift and -6 temps with sunny skies makes for icy roads. It got down to -16 here with a light easterly wind again last night.

Hard to remember when our kids were that small.

Everybody I met in Alberta were just as tired of winter as we here in Saskatchewan. :?

will never come again! More will come, but not exactly those.

glad you got to see the new grandson Big Grandpaw Muddy also happy you made it home safely, if they were down to 80, it was bad, probably still 30 over safe :lol: sure would'nt want to be a trucker in these conditions but at least you're among the biggest on the road

Congrates Big Muddy Grandpa and Grandma!!! sorry havent been on line for a while, so i am a little slow i guess in c ongratulating you guys. I can't wait for my turn, gives a new meaning to old old friend. I didn't mean you Tammy, your just an old friend. Take care you two, and glad everyones all good and you had a safe trip out to see the little one.
