Don Imus is ready to sell his 2,400 acre ranch. The property is on the market for $32 million. Realtor Craig Huitifeldt stated that he publicly listed the property earlier this week.

The shock jock's ranch is a well-known commodity. Imus developed the property into a cattle ranch for children with cancer. He said that he and his family have decided to sell the ranch in order to use the funds to support other charitable organizations. However, Imus hopes that whoever buys the ranch has altruistic goals in mind, "It's a fabulous facility," Imus said in a telephone interview. "We hope it lives on as something to benefit kids."

Imus may be stationed in New York City, but the cowboy-wearing radio personality has his roots in the old west. He was born in Riverside, California, and was raised on a big cattle spread called the Willows, near Kingman, Arizona.

The Imus Ranch is located in the foothills about 50 miles northeast of Santa Fe. The radio host and his wife Deirdre bought the property in 1998. The ranch welcomes boys and girls, who want to try out the "Great American Cowboy Experience," between the ages of 11-17, who have received treatment for childhood cancer or have a blood disease. The ranch has served over 2,000 children. Imus frequently broadcasts his radio program from the ranch during the summer months.

According to the property listing, the ranch features 28 bedrooms and 34 bathrooms. It also has several barns, sheds, and greenhouses. Additionally, the ranch is "environmentally pure," free of pesticides and chemicals.

Here's a video of the spread:

You can buy gcreek's ranch too if you look on Landquest.com

Gee, Gcreek, you are too young to retire. You and your bride have assembled a mighty fine ranch, and you both can be proud. Hope your dreams (whatever they may be) come true.

No thoughts of retirement Soap. Just something more consolidated and closer to grandkids.

mine is for sale too, can't eat scenery, winters are long and too much iron for too few cows, and don't have the balls to play the yearling game.
plus got a daughter that really want to ranch...

When you move to civilization you will miss wiping your hind end with leaves.

We are much more evolved than that up north Redrobin. Up here we don't use leaves, that's what the Sears catalogue is for

looked it up, that's some spread you have. Looks very nice and something to be very proud of.

Thank you and Faster Horses.

I just am glad we got to see your ranch for ourselves. Jack is still in
love with the Morrison Meadow place...... :D And of course there were
pictures of it included with the rest. Which, by the way,
your pictures on that Real Estate site are awesome!
