I attended some classes here lately and thought I'd share a few things I picked up. I took one seminar put on by the Utah Cattlemen's Association and another done by our county university extension agent. Both had professors from Utah State University and the University of Wyoming. One guy even came clear from the University of Nebraska. I won't try and share all that was presented but I did think that some of the website links they gave us might be helpful to some of ya'll.

www.cattlemarketanalysis.org is a website set up by Professor Feuz from USU. It is full of ranching calculators for figuring projections like net present value, stocking rates and budgeting issues.

The UofW also has that info at www.uwyoextension.org/ranchtools

A couple other sites that you may learn a little something from are...

www.beefbasis.com

www.nrcs.usda.gov
