i was up north of me 30 or so miles at a friends ranch on the weekend-he has a silage pit a few miles from the yard-game fenced to keep the elk out. In the last cold snap a pair of wolves were bedding next to the silage face to keep warm. There's alot of deer up there so they had it pretty easy-fresh venison at their doorstep and a warm bed at night. another buddy had the yotes corner a deer in his backyard all afternoon-they finally got brave enough to kill it after dark-the deer are eating him out of house and home-really bad in the stackyards so he was cheering for the yotes on this one.
