Many ISU fans are hoping and praying that Turner Gill is their next HC. Turner deserves better than the mess that's in Ames right now.

All of this broke about 5pm last night with ISU AD Jamie Pollard issuing a press release saying that Chizik was "high" on Auburn's list.

last I heard it was the DC from Texas, Muschamp that was the leading guy for the Auburn job.....

Chizzz has brought ISU to competitive status in only 2 years during a time of Big 12 strength. ISU would have been in the BCS picture if they played in the Big 10.

Kansas learned a lesson well with a former basketball coach; If you want a coach to stay, hire an alum. Auburn seems to have learned this lesson and Chiz is a great hire. I understand Tech's Leach wanted the job as well as Gill. Gill will be back at Nebraska in 5 or 6 years - If Bo wins big, he'll go to the NFL, if not, they'll fire him.
