Yep, it actually rained last night!!!! We got a cool ONE INCH!
YIPPEE!!!

Turned the cat out this morning and he wasn't sure what to do.
Hasn't been much rain or mud since he's been outside.
I wouldn't have done it, because he'll be muddy as all get out
when he comes back in and this is REAL MUD, not that sissy stuff!!!
Anyway, he gets very mischievious when he wants out, soooo
I let him out...

I'm so happy for you. I see Tap got a good rain as well. Maybe it will push north. We have had the cloud and it tried yesterday but just little showers that just dampened things down. No mud.

I'm so glad for ya'll Faster horses!!!!!! There's nothin quite like the feeling of gettin rain when you need it so badly. Changes your whole outlook on things......

LOL my puppies dont appreciate me sendin them outside after a good rain either. Guess their lil wiener dog bellies don't like havin to drag around on wet grass. They tippy toe, but can't get high enuff :D

It is raining here again today... Hard to believe that this is august with how much rain we have beeng ettting but I will take it.. Nice cool day to be working inside the grain bin on the discharge auger.. Hate those darn thigns.

Good for you FH--I watched that on the radar- was heading right to us and hit that invisible line at the Missouri River and turned east...Looked like you were going to get a good soaker....Fact is the radar showed pretty good moisture all the way from the Missouri south to past Miles City...
Really a funny year- you can drive 25 miles south and go south of the Missouri River and its almost like a different world- they've got 5 times the rain we have...But I can remember years when we wouldn't miss a rain, and they couldn't even buy a shower......

We almost got left out again- Got another .10 last night- for a total of .4 for the last two days and it is still drizzly this morning altho I don't think it will amount to much...

Looks like most around here got at least a shower, we fortunately had close to .5" Sure freshens it up for a bit, lets us get a good night sleep without worrying about fires. Suppose to be hot and dry next week so it doesn't sound like we are moving into a wet pattern yet. Thankful for what we got though!!
