It's cloudy, below 90 degrees, rainy, drizzly and the humidity has got to be about 110%....so it's a wonderful day!!!!

Supposed to be this way all thru the wknd.

Congratulations on the rain. When we started getting some about three weeks ago, my outlook on life surely improved.

One morning when it was still so dry, I was being rather grouchy. My dear wife Peach Blossom questioned me, "What is wrong with you?" My quick answer was, "Nothing that a two inch rain two weeks ago wouldn't have prevented."

Timely rains make or break the whole season. An extra inch of rain can sure take the place of a whole lot of sophisticated "management." On the other hand, too much rain is as bad or worse than not enough. All things in moderation.

Glad you got the rain.

Send it this way Kola-- so dry a mouse fart will start a fire...We ain't seen real moisture since June-- yesterday was 96 degrees and today is supposed to be 100...

I can't wait for Fall to get here....

Sorry...but I'm being my selfish self and keeping every drop!!!!

The temps have been in the 100's plus here...but hey, it's summertime and I can handle that !!!!....but our problem has been lack of rain. I think we're somewhere about 20+ inches below where we should be @ this time of year.

We should get anywhere from 65" to 72" of rain per year. In fact, we're called the Appalachian Rain forest up here in the hills!!!

Glad you are getting some much needed moisture, kola.
I agree with Soapweed. Getting rain when you need it can take
care of a lot of 'management' problems.

Well we've managed to get a couple of inches in the last 2 weeks greening up nicely.Cows have been FREE grazeing the road ditches, other peoples hayground and the wild life management area but hey we got extra grass and I'm sick of rebuilding fence.
