Japanese Mini Trucks

Not really sure what you mean by a Japanese mini truck but we have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder that is great for scooting around the ranch checking water pumps and putting out mineral. We had a 1985 Nissan pickup that was pretty handy as well.

There are some for sale around here that are used but in good shape. Several thousand miles or kilometers were put on the vehicles in Japan, and then they have been sent to the USA for resale. They are about two thirds the size of a Volkswagen pickup, are four-whee-drive, and the steering wheel is on the right side which is the wrong side. Some of them even have boxes that dump. They look somewhat "handy" but would be more so if the steering wheel was on the left side, which would be the "right" (correct) side.

Yeah, there's a guy that has them for sale here in Dodge City and the steering is on the wrong side. The biggest hang-up I have is that they are more expensive than a little pickup! I can't really see the advantage of one when you can literally get into an old Toyota or Ranger or S-10 for less that what those little things cost.

Our Ag Teacher just went and bought a Gator, Ranger, .....??? Forgot the brand....but it cost him $9400......I looked at him and said....that's a real nice outfit......but you coulda bought 7 of my Toyota trucks for what you paid for that. And I can drive mine on the highway LOL

my neighbor tried one of them, and burnt the clutch out real fast.
I think they would be slick in certain aspects, but there is NO ROOM in that cab!

may as well get an old beat up Ford Ranger.
