I am going to move them to a different pasture, but the blackbirds get to stay.

It's easier to pull a chain than to push it. Dragging the salt bunk with a piece of double-strand smooth wire seemed to lure them just fine.

The leaders were coaxed through the gate

And the rest of them are stringing through nicely.

They are still coming along.

I just need to push the stragglers through the gate.

I just picked up a second set of double 9's newer then the ones I originally got.

It is a double nine Kosch hydraulic. We had one of the original Kosch hydraulics and didn't like it. Our double nine mower the last few years was a double nine PTO driven, but they talked us into a hydraulic one this time. So far, so good. We also have a single nine Rowse with a New Holland mower. It is on a three point, and is handy for weeds, stack yards, corrals, and other harder to reach areas.
