Arriving at the gate (which I had opened ahead of time)

Back on her home stomping grounds again

Clouds off to the east. We missed another good chance for rain.

For the red calf fanciers

This bunch of cattle are the ones with extra color.

Probably a candidate for the carcass contest, since he doesn't match up with any others.

This calf is 3/4 Hereford and has a little too much chrome. I like extra chrome on horses, but cattle not so much.

Back to the basic blacks

Hiding behind the sunflowers

But is doesn't work too well. Why did the elephant paint its toenails red? So it could hide in the strawberry patch.

Soap a pot-load of those red steer calves would bring some hefty cash!! They look like they could blend in at BRG 's place :cboy:

Soap, I've been looking for pictures of those Hereford Herd Sires this summer but haven't seen any yet! Nice pictures, take care.

RA take a look at that chromy calf on the black baldie cow. That's what you get when you put a Hereford on a Baldy. I'm with Soapweed about the chrome. I too, like it on horses............ :wink:
