gee a coffee shop bum

This was after supper, at about closing time.
Sue and I had breakfast in Ogden UT this morning waiting for a Diesel Shop to open to get a injector pump worked on. Like the little local sit down places, and listen the guys talk politics, they saw our plates and asked how Wyoming was .

Great photos---per usual!

Personally, I hate a mess around a stock tank. Also think it's a 'hoof rot' breeding place. I have the overflow start with an elbow, then short pipe down into tank----this keeps dropped hay, grass etc, from being nearly as likely to plug. Gotta drill holes in the elbow so it'll flow--water level will maintain at lowest point of elbow. Then head the overflow trench for a coulee. Cows will walk down covered trench like a trail--and this makes it far more likely to freeze. A few tires tired together discourages this.

Could you rig up a float to shut the windmill off when full to keep the mud in check?

What mud? He has sand. Myself, if the stupid windmill will pump, I don't want to anything that might deter from it doing so.
I have 1 that the cows have to wade through water to get a drink from the tank, but I am not going to mess with it. It may decide not to ever work again.

did they take all the old photo's down also I thought that was a pretty neat feature of the old restaurant.
