"Stout and wide based"

I am just a piss ant droughted out Texas Hereford man, so I'm sure that I am actually wrong here, but this is what I call stout and wide based

You need to remember that "other" site is primarily registered guys slapping each other on the back. There is little concern for the commercial herd.

So did you post his picture on the other site and see what they said about him? :?

Nice bull by the way. :D

I don't think they allow pics on that site. Besides, posting a Hereford on an Angus site is not a fight even I would pick.....LOL

Thanks.......

Oooh..you forgot the Hereford ad from a few years ago?

"Making Blacks Better"

That was a good one.

The one that was most accurate was " herefords, they make great companions for their calves, if they can see them"

Just flushed the breed entirely for the second time in 40 years. Lower weaning weights, less money down the rail, and more cost to get them there. Because of that, they didn't work commercially here. I will concur that a Hereford cowherd looks pretty in the pasture, so I guess so enjoy the hobby.

Aladar, what bloodlines (or breeders' cattle) disappointed you this last time?

Edit: Aladar, if you prefer not to post that info on this board, feel free to PM me.

Probably same place soap got his "Hereford" bulls from. Sometimes it almost looks intentional. My new slogan for the aha... Polled the breed saver!

Fortunately they weren't fertile enough to give us very many calves.
