I fully agree. You can tell a youngster, but you can't tell them much. :?

What? Were you old guys talking again?

I know what you mean. My Grampa had some pieces removed here and there before he passed. The usual areas where you sunburn the worst hauling hay and riding for 60-70 years. It really hit home with me the first time I saw Grandma bring him home with his ears bandaged up.

I'm recovering from some 'carving' and skin grafting on an ear yesterday......and I was never much of a sun worshipper and never burned, either! Just used caps too much the small amounts of time I was out instead of the better coverage. Will definitely be using hats more in spite of the size being a hassle! Kinda miserable few days and two weeks attempting to keep the bandage clean and dry seems quite a challenge, too. No taking it off, no matter what, is my understanding, till my appointment with the doc on the 11th of July.

So.......just protect that skin from the sun, whatever it takes!
