Emily had a good report card so Dad gave a day off to go chase deer. We spied this dude tending a doe so Ty made a big circle to try and move him past Emily. My little girl almost froze I think the windchill was -30 with driving snow-the old boy doubled back onto Ty and he hit him hard. He led us quite a chase but Ty finally anchored him-the horn left scores 158 and change he's of went over 160 but three inches of main beam got shot off lol. A pretty nice main frame 4x4.

Congrats on a beautiful 4 pointer. Kudos to Emily for toughing it out on point too. It's got to be the coldest place on earth waiting for someone to come through a bush, until something breaks cover that is. Wish you guys were in a different Province so we could have some fun trading hunts.
Ever pay attention to how many heads come in to scoring day with a hole in the horn? Done it myself a couple times. I shot the horn right off a buck with heavier beams than Milo's life changer. He's one lucky SOB!

He's got a 5inch point coming off the back of his beam-Emily missed his big brother this A'M-something she learned from her Dad lol. Everybody shoots at a big bucks horns-Ty's 207 inch mulie had a hole right through his main beam when we got him. The rut is at it's peak now we saw 8 or 9 bucks this A'M-some bedded right out in the open with their does.
