the vegas boys have Auburn a 6.5 point favorite... I was expecting 14 or 17 to be honest...but 6.5 is doable if we play well, protect the ball and believe in Snyder....

I love the idea the kids have with the play on Alabama... they have ROLL SNYDE t shirts ... I guess the AU fans are not happy !

The spread has moved to 9.5.........................

No, Auburn folks love the "Roll Snyde" t-shirt thingy. Makes them feel at home.

Might be a good game. ESPN is sure hyping it up. Been seeing the play where the KSU QB got sacked and fumbled in the 2007 game over & over & over. It's on all the ESPN channels...

How about that "Mighty" B1G this weekend?

really getting mixed feelings on this game.... I fear a blow out... BUT, I also know that AU has fumbled 4 times already this year. KSU is very solid at winning the take aways in a game...KSU is very good at slowing down up tempo teams....if we keep the ball away from AU, and grind the clock(Snyder specialty) then we have an advantage....

people keep calling this the biggest game ever in Manhattan....possibly the biggest NON con game, but not the biggest....

ESPN swore USC would come in, overwhelm KSU with the "presence" of such a powerful team, and just roll us..... NOPE. didn't happen.

I am really fearing a total embarrassment, yet have this sneaking feeling we could keep it close, and steal a win.... going to depend on Lockett...he has some hamstring issues, so I hope he can stay healthy all year long.... going to need him, the Big 12 is pretty loaded this year...we have the talent that ESPN claims is all in that cousin humping conference to the south east....

I think this is code for: Auburn fans attending the game, prepare to be verbally abused and mistreated, no matter the outcome. Vehicles clearly belonging to Auburn fans will be vandalized and possibly totaled out. SOP in Manhattan.

I guess that's better than going to Baton Rouge. Usually some visiting fans there get their motor homes burnt to a crisp.

But it's all in fun!!!!!!!

as long as they do not have a red N on them, they will be safe....

That is every bit as big a whopper as OT ever told!

Here, here! Don't be bringing OT in the same thread as Auburn!!!

Somebody may see his name and think bad of AU!

The Auburn fans would probably be safer in Syria. Just consider the Auburn fans as infidels and the Mildcat fans as members of ISIS...no matter the outcome of the game.

Could be ugly then. Most of the AU fans are country-azz folks with concealed carry permits......................

And Kansas does honor those permits.

Auburn fans will be fine...they are not big cry baby bungholes who spent 30 years as the cream of the crop, then started getting beat by teams who finally got up to their level...then turned around and voted against them on EVERY vote...so the big bullies took their dusty trophies and went to the rust bucket conference....

As much as I hate to, I'm going to put on my Jigs Creek hat and pull for K-St. I doubt the football will be much good, but the Royals are off for the night, so there's no baseball to watch.

aaaaahhhh that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.....

Auburn's starting safety didn't make the trip. Supposedly he disrespected (hate that word) an assistant coach. Could be a blowout.

The spread dropped back to 7 1/2.

Either way, you have to admire KSU. They have 58 guys on the roster that are either a walk-on now, or once were a walk-on. That's pretty strong.

I will take a team of kids who EARN the spot on the team over the 5 star kids who didn't.... hard work pays off more in the long run.... first half plays to KSU's advantage..... looking like we might get that upset

First thing tomorrow morning, Snyder needs to have kicker tryouts. I bet half the team could hit one from the 5.

Don't count on it.

I think Auburn took Snyd for a ride. After watching the 95 Orange Bowl last night on BTN, both Auburn & the MildCats look pretty sorry compared to the 94 Huskers or Hurricanes. Glad to see that the bus with the real Auburn team showed up at halftime. I hope Mike has better luck collecting his winnings from the Mouth From Not Too Far South than I have been.

well, I thought we laid in there pretty well for playing a team that might be in the national title game again this year

we gave up 16 points between the kicks and the int in the endzone.... all in all, it was a good game.... beat Miami before you go blowing like a typical fusker fan.
