Been up most of the night. Wife got me up around midnight having some contractions. So been timing them and whatnot trying to decide if its time to go in yet. Told her this is worse than calving heifers. At least with them if their just standing around being uncomfortable I can just go back to sleep. This is our fourth kid so I got by with just an eye roll from her and not a slap.

Hope all goes well. Our first couldn't wait to be born...she was 2 weeks early. The other 2 were induced. The nice thing about that is you get to pick their birthday.

Keep us posted!

We'll we have got nothing yet except minus one nights sleep. We were going to go in right after the kids got up. They do better on a rutien so thought we would get that going before my mom came over. They get up at 6 anyway. Anyway the contractions stopped for now so we will see what kind of excitement we will have today. :D

Our first two were induced then the third came a couple weeks early. We still got a week till this ones due date is actually here. Some newer reacherch suggests that they are inducing everybody to early and puts the baby in unneaded risk so my wife wants to do it naturally. We will get induced if we go over the due date though.

Well it's official. Our newest member of the family hatched out at 1:21 this morning. We had the baby within 35 minutes of getting to the hospital. Mom and baby are doing good. Weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces and 18 inches long little girl.

Congrats! When she's a little older, be sure to get her some Husker gear to wear!

Thanks. Our second child is a girl and got a pink hand me down husker shirt from one of my wife's friends and that is her " favorite shirt". It's only a play at home shirt where nobody can see it! :-) Don't need to cause a ruckus down in KSU land.

Thanks Soapweed. This one was almost to much excitement as I was a bit worried the last 15 miles if we were going to make it to the hospital or not.
