Interesting day

Young mother and kids

She loves her little brother.

Learning about a bull collection facility

Impressive procedures

Well managed operation

Lots of high quality cattle

Interested spectators

A proud father and his son

His pretty wife and daughter

More good cattle to see after the noon stop

Great bulls in abundance

Maybe I should not be so vocal in my politically incorrect thinking. There seems to be black helicopters flying over our ranch.

Peach went with me to feed on Sunday.

She had a slight vacation from being a grandma.

Not exactly a selfie

The years are starting to add up.

Still hay in the bale yards. Of course the winter isn't even half over yet.

Leading the good life on a nice day

Muskrat houses on a pond. During one period of time in the Sandhills, a muskrat hide was worth 75 cents, and ranch land was selling for a dollar an acre. Muskrat trapping was a lucrative business, and helped put some of these ranches together.

Glad to see things are humming along in the Sandhills Soap. I wish I could trap them ol' muskrats and they would almost bring an acre a piece. Those were the days. And remember what Augustus McRae said about age....."The older the violin, the sweeter the music".

my dad payed for his first set of false teeth with rat hides, they were a buck, getting his rotten teeth pulled and dentures came to 300 dollars, lots of muskrats
