VegasInsider.com released the latest odds for the next College Football Champion, and there is a new leader atop the list after Week 4 of the college football season.
Alabama now finds themselves atop the list at 6/1 odds, with Oklahoma coming in at 7/1. Auburn comes in third with 8/1 odds, tied with defending champion Florida State. Oregon rounds out the top five with 9/1 odds.
It is also worth noting that nine of the top 25 highest valued teams are from the Southeastern Conference, with Mississippi State making a significant leap in the odds after their win over LSU.
Five teams from the Pac-10 have top 25 odds, while four come from the Big Ten and four from the Big 12.
Teams with the lowest odds of winning the national championship include Boise St., Michigan, Northwestern, Texas Tech, Utah State, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Washington State at 5000/1 odds each.
