Any one ever have one repaired?
Would it be worth the cost to have it done?
Tank it'self looks new but uses excessive nytrogen,
Just wondering as I have a new one ordered but being a titewad was wondering if it could be fixed and used as a back up

Thanks

If you can wait till spring ABS usually has a really good deal on the MVE XC- 20 Tank. I think they run around $450 plus shipping.

You can get one re-vac'ed. This is the only place I know of that does it.

They do a revac for $175. If the tank is too bad they tell you and send it back.

There is an article on our website that touches on this subject along with some good tips for safe and secure semen storage.

The article offers guidance on securely storing bull semen in liquid nitrogen tanks to protect it from loss or damage. It emphasizes the importance of durable, fireproof storage in secure locations away from corrosive or hazardous conditions. Regular monitoring of tank levels and proper maintenance are advised, along with secure transport practices to prevent accidental loss or theft. Using professional storage facilities can provide redundancy. Liability awareness and preventive measures are critical to safeguard this valuable resource.

This thread was started in 2010. Hopalong doesn't post here any more. Hopefully someone will see
the replies that have this same question and it will help them.
Hopefully it will help someone get a tank repaired and save them some money. When we had a problem with an MVE tank, it was out of warranty and MVE didn't want to tell is how to get it repaired. They just wanted to sell us a new tank. We asked who repaired their guaranteed tanks that went bad during the warranty period, after some serious quizzing, they coughed up the name of Pioneer Industries. We have used their services several times both for long term tanks and shipper tanks.
