While I was out cutting cedar posts Dalton went to a branding on the outfit he will be working for this summer. He said he had a lot of fun wrestling calves. And they even let him rope and drag a few. Guess I better get him a breast collar

He even had his first wreck. Riding a ranch horse and it stumbled crossing a deep wash. He was able to get off fast and the horse tumbled back into the wash. Horse and saddle are fine thankfully. I told him welcome to cowboying on the desert

Another lesson in hard knocks.
