Long tailed weasel

Haven't seen these guys around since I was a kid. Curious little buggers. I was watching cows heat detecting the other day and all the sudden about 15 of these guys popped their heads and pretty much ran right up to me. go get those gophers!!!

It is called the Prairie Weasel, it's smaller and quicker cousin is called the bush weasel. In our world they are called liberals or south of the 49th, Democrats!

CA, it is actually called Mustela frenata longicauda (Prairie Long-Tailed Weasel), so I guess your both right. We just have the Short-Tailed Weasel up here.
