82 and sunny in GA....not a cloud in the sky.

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

hubby is already grumbling about the snow and the "wet" since he still had almost 200 acres of wheat to harvest and his 3rd cutting of alfalfa hay to do.....hmmmmm.....I think I need a vacation!

The first snow always amazed me out there... It was only like 5 months since the last one but everyone had forgotten how to drive in the snow that fast... Around here it is much the same, you don't want t be on the roads for the first snow as people either go way to fast or way to slow...

The most interesting driving around here was sometime during the winter 97 I think.. Around Christmas time we got something like 21 inches in the chicago area..The roads acually weren't bad but it was like a ghost town.. All the grocery stores were emptied the day before as people were preparing for armageddon or something... I was visiting home after spending the previous year in the hills northeast of Bozeman.. We had 36 inches christmas eve/christmas that year.... Talk about a long day shoveling..

First frost with chances of snow are forcasted for We and thursday here.. Doubt the snow will happen but the frost is about time.

Chilly and frosty here this morning-28- but the sun is shining and no wind...Weather boys say the cold and moisture could move in Tuesday night and Wed. and we could get a couple inches of snow.....Predicting a high in the low 30's for Wed- with a low in the teens....

They say the arctic airmass that is going to move down from Canada is now producing temps of -20C or -5 F in northern Manitoba now....BRRRRRRRRRRR---I hope it doesn't slide that down here....

40 degrees and that feels nippy. Wet, rained last night. Bad for hay harvest--good for winter wheat. Was going to be helping a neighbor ship calves, but the country is too muddy for the trucks.

Just a touch of frost, blue sky and windy. Someone could sure send us some moisture if they don't want it (like maybe Shelley) :P

Everything is white here this morning with frost. It got down to 23F. Calling for rain to start tomorrow morning and then turn to snow by night. Good thing we got all our hay baled up last nite.

Ranchwife, tell cowboyup to keep his head up as we will get some good weather yet!! We all deserve it!!

Partly cloudy 66 degrees at the moment 10am with a high today predicted of 81. Ya'll can keep that cold weather up there. we don't need it yet, got things to do.......but if anyone can spare any rain, we'd take that. :D

To be honest I slept in a bit this morning, a luxury that disappears as soon as I start back at the feedlot for the winter, so didn't check the temp early. It's still white as can be with frost and 1.4 degrees C, but the sun is shining.

It'll be down to the upper 20's here thursday for a low and upper 40's for a high. That's the coldest so far. I like fall cool weather. Our fall grazing this year is fantastic. The cattle are doing handsprings. The grass is very dark and it's been dry enough the grass is stout.

Nicky, if I could, I'd send you all you want! All it has done for the last three weeks or so is rain! We'll get two or three days of fair weather, then it's got to rain again.

This morning was very cool, hard frost last night, ice is just starting to thaw on the puddles.

I keep telling myself that we're still going to get some nice weather, alot of the summer birds are still here.

I've been told the weather pattern changes with the full moon. Well, the night of the full moon, it was raining cats and dogs, so what is going to happen? I'm thinking...........rain?

46 here and cloudy. We will get a hard frost tonight and a trace of snow tomorrow night. I have insulated coverallls on today as it feels like winter is coming. Hopefully we will get about another month of nice weather when this passes.

Well for my Tuesday morning weather report from the Sandhills of Nebraska....IT'S COLD! Yup that pretty much covers it. I haven't checked the temp yet..to chicken to see what it really is..but it's a heavy gray overcast this morning...ya know that snowy sky look,,but no moisture as of yet...Oh Lilly please send some warm air up here!!!! I'm not ready for coveralls yet!!!!!

it's a muggy 74 degrees this mornin and looks like the bottoms fixin to fall out. we have 100% chance of rain so ranchers weather says. Lookin like one of those spring time thunder storms movin thru. Hope it all gets done by this evenin. I don't like kiddo's on the road to away games durin bad weather.
Jassy...you want the humidity too?

My coveralls are somewhere in the closet on a shelf still....I hope they get to stay there for a good while longer. I'm not ready to dress like the michellin man.

sunny this morning, which makes the white in the foothills and mountains all the more BRIGHT!! 8) 8) 8) Temp was 21 when I took the boys to the bus stop! At least the north wind quit blowing and maybe the roads to boze-angeles will not be so bad today.....Lord have mercy on me, but I gotta get over there!! My cupboards hold a startling resemblence to Old Mother Hubbard's!!

Moving in from Canada now-- temp has dropped down to 39, NW wind 20-30 mph and raining...They say it could turn to snow tonite with a low of 19- High tomorrow is only supposed to be in the 30's with a record low down to 13....Going to end the growing season for sure.......

Definitely felt like long john weather out there this afternoon....
