Looks Like Winter

Looks like winter has set in pretty solidly here now. Seems like snowfall warnings are a daily occurrence these days. Another one in effect for tonight.
Poor old batteries on the solar powered water bowl are getting a workout. Will have to run the generator down to top them off again in a day or two I'm thinking.

In this part of the world if cows don't go into the winter in good condition no amount of pampering will see them in good conditioning come spring.

Same here. Best to put condition on BEFORE winter or you never catch them up.

64F here today and dry as a mouthful of cotton. Either the beginning of another drought or winter has taken a vacation. Send some south when ya have the chance. Cattle look swell! If ya feed your hired hands that well, I'd like to apply for a job
