MAJOR mistake !

well, I took the day to go to Husker Harvest Days with one of my boys. we had a blast! lots of stuff I can't afford there, that is for sure!

we geet home, and I decided to go see how much swathing they got done. I drive up to the field, and find the swather all mangled! it appears the big boss mans kid shut down the swather in a pivot track. they were moving the pivot off of the field, onto the service road, and everyone forgot to shut it off!

the end tower ran right up and across the head. busted out the windshield, and smashed the top of the head down.

It was too dark for pictures tonight, so I will get some in the morning...... hopefully it will run good enough to finish the field. all the damage is cosmetic, so I hope it will run. big boss sounded VERY sick when I called him to ask about it tonight!

Sorry Jigs. Now the poor boy knows how I felt when I backed up and jack-knifed my pickup, inflicting great bodily harm to the right rear fender. He probably feels very badly, and I feel bad right along with him.

I backed my skidloader into my new pickup yesterday not alot of damage but enough to make a guy scratch his head.

It happens. I left the pickup parked too close to the combine. The young lad backed the big green beastie up and hard to the right. He said he felt something funny and stopped - lucky he did because the front combine tire was just starting to climb up the hood of the pickup!

Nothing a thousand or two won't fix . . . :lol: :lol: all cosmetic as well.

Good thing he was driving cuz he takes things kinda easy. If I had been in the combine, the stick would have been pulled all the way back and my pickup would have been transformed into a subcompact!

Live and learn.
