We toured a dairy area on the west coast. Here is a HUGE manure holding tank. Two semi's can fit inside it. It will hold a years worth of manure and due to the airation system and the bacteria that they encourage to grow in it, it didn't even smell in the tank. However, I'm betting when the dairy man sprays it on the fields it does. :yeah: :gag:
Here is the other part of the manure holding tank that the first photo couldn't fit in.
They told us when a problem was with the filter system in the middle of the tank a row boat was used to paddle out to the middle to fix it. Puts the term a sh$$$y day at work in perspective.
