I know all everyone is talking about the basketball, but did anyone on here watch the ncaa wrestling championship tonight? It's glad to see wrestling on prime time on espn not delayed a day on some channel half of the people don't get. I liked the format of putting the biggest match last and starting the weight above them. Some good matches and some that were less than exciting as usual. Also a kid became only the third 4 time national champion ever, and the first to do it in 4 different weight classes. Over all some good watching I thought.

Good watching but the guy I was rooting for lost most of the matches. :???: :???: :???:

The one I was really wishing for was for Taylor to beat Dake and he should have. I don't agree with the stalling call but Taylor gave up a real easy takedown.

I agree about the final match. The first stall call was not justified I thought. But at least it was a good match. Some times when a match is hyped up like that they wrestle to tight and is kind of dull. I don't really like the riding time rule. While I agree you should be awarded for riding your opponent. It seems that is all they do on top is ride and don't look to score back points. Also when a kid is trying to escape the top guy just hangs on the leg and waits for a stalemate or go out of bounds. I watched state champoionships that were more exciting than some of the matches. In high school rules the kid from northwestern would have won easy cause the iowa kid would have been hit with stalling about 5 time when the northwestern kid was trying to escape. The northwestern kid was doing all the work and the iowa kid got a point for "riding time" when he was just hanging on the leg half the match.
