Big Swede and JF encouraged me to continue "Memories." If any of you good people see more Moreland land, cattle and people than you think is our share please let us know!

I sure don't get tired of looking at your pictures. Or anybody else's .
I love tosew old timey's and the memories they conjure up.
Were you thinking that calf hooked to this wagon could be fun? :D

Great photos as always Bob, thank you. I never get tired of looking at ranching history. I've read dozens of books on this areas history in the cattle business. Gives a person a little perspective on where he has come from and what his ancestors went through to get us here. Thanks again.

It is an effort for me to read at the moment. My eyes have continually gotten worse lately but I am having cataracts removed day after tomorrow and hope to read more of the interesting posts as time goes on and make comments on them; however, I very much appreciate your comments. Big Muddy, I would have probably harnessed that Hereford and headed for heaven had I thought about it.. I, a few years later had a cart that we hooked behind Roxy, my spotted pony, and had a lot of fun. {I willl put a picture in later}.

Gcreekrch, Mom was young maybe in today's standards but was born in a sod house (pictured later} in 1897. She was married in 1919 at the age of 21.

Big Swede, Thankyou for expressing your wishes for me to post more memories! Whenever you get to thinking otherwise let me know!

Best Wishes on a successful surgury Bob.

I would have guessed your Mom at about 16 or 17 in that photo.

Keep on posting, styles and happenings from back then are always interesting. Thanks.
