You shouldn't have to fight dust and wear earflaps on the 26th day of May, of any year.

We moved a bunch of cows yesterday and sorted out the dry's and lates. Was a cool damp day with temps in the 50°'s, made it nice for moving cattle.

Talked to a friend this evening that was helping move cattle today, said the cattle were almost hot even before they started.

Great pictures

That looks kind of like having to wear woollies and Mucks during a branding. We opened the gate for a bunch today, this is 3 days later than we have ever gone to grass. The yearling heifers will get hauled to their summer pasture tommorow. The young cows and later born calves will go out on Friday. It has been awful slow this year but the leaves on the brush are coming today. :D

It has been awful slow here too. The chokecherry's and the cottonwoods are starting to get leaves and the ash trees are just starting to bud. Usually everything is leafed out by the first of June.

Agreed as to the weather...felt more like a late fall day here yesterday.

That last picture looked like your mule didn't care for the rope swinging...have you roped using your mule before?
