May Day 2007

I well remember a bad blizzard that took place forty years ago on this day, even though the weather today was sunny and beautiful.

Turned one bunch out to grass today

A little green showing through

Calves enjoying life

Wading in water

Nature's bouquet

Two geese and a red-winged blackbird

Moving a bunch of cattle

The Hereford calf is doing pretty good after he found a new mother that had some milk :wink:

Fooling around

Moving cattle across the meadow

A little too much color in this herd

soapweed...that herford looks pretty good, when was he born? looks like your calves will be heavy at weaning...what will they weigh in november or so?

The only color I saw in that last picture was green, and I sort of like it!

Not too much color in that bunch. Our neighbors have a herd like that and we called it a political correct herd. :roll: :wink:
