Maybe They Aren't Bad After All

I just checked with the feedlot I use-my thirdcut heifers are gaining 3.94/lbs day with a COG of $.64/lb gain and my second cut steers are doing 4.31 at a COG of $.59/lb gain. My yearlings never sell worth a damn because they aren't real framey but they seem to do good here. Highland Feeders does a good job that's for sure. This is the same group of calves we had the wreck on last year-no treats on feed though.

Are you heading up for Murray's sale on March 16th-I'm stopping there on my way to Bozeman to do a prescout on the sale bulls. How's the wee Laddies doing at your place.
